Yes, they can.

No cost to the university. The alumni wireless volume can drive wireless costs down and the alumni program can be used to drive donations to the school.

Eligible users are given the option of donating an amount each month in addition to their cellular bill. This donated amount can be used by the University for scholarship programs and other fundraising ventures.

3Roof provides end user support utilizing mobility support experts.

The program, which utilizes a user portal and support staff, is ready to go. Implementation is driven by the school’s timing and coordination with the university IT staff.

Moving a line to the alumni program involves porting a cell phone number from the existing carrier to the University alumni wireless account. Generally porting occurs within 24 hours of the request. The phone remains active on the current carrier until the port occurs at which time the phone is rebooted and is active on the new carrier service.  A phone can also be activated with a new number on the alumni plan.
